Daniel Harrington is Managing Partner and President of Patriot's Real Estate Finance division. Mr. Harrington has over 16 years of diverse commercial real estate experience, including extensive experience in the origination, structuring and securitization of commercial real estate loans across the full spectrum of property types. Mr. Harrington joined Patriot from CapitalSource Finance (NYSE: CSE) where he was a Director and one of the senior members of their real estate division. While at CapitalSource he focused on providing real estate debt financing in the form of mezzanine and high-leverage senior mortgage loans throughout the United States , Mexico and Canada. Prior to joining CapitalSource, Mr. Harrington held senior executive positions in the real estate divisions of Lehman Brothers and Nomura Asset Capital Corporation where he participated in the origination of over $1 billion of fixed and floating rate real estate loans. During the early 1990's, he was one of the original members of the J.E. Robert team of acquisition/due diligence professionals that partnered with Goldman Sachs' Whitehall Fund to acquire bulk loan portfolios. In this position, he led teams that acquired loan pools from the RTC, FDIC and various commercial lending institutions. He has also worked in the real estate consulting division of KPMG Peat Marwick and the VMS Realty Partnership. Mr. Harrington holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University and an M.S. from Florida International University.

Jonathan Kane is Managing Partner and President of The Patriot Group. Mr. Kane joined Patriot with broad experience in private equity and investment banking including, most recently, as a founding managing partner of Advanta Growth Capital, a $100 million private equity partnership focused on investment opportunities in the financial and business services markets. Mr. Kane began his career in 1988 at the consulting firm of McKinsey and Company. In 1992, after completing his MBA, Mr. Kane served as an associate in the Investment Banking and Mergers and Acquisitions Department at Goldman, Sachs & Co., focusing on buy-side and sell-side transactions in a variety of industries as well as formulating merger and joint venture structures and strategies for Fortune 500 clients. In 1996, Mr. Kane went to the client side as Senior Vice President of Millicom International Cellular (NASDAQ: MICC), a developer and operator of cellular phone companies in emerging markets, where he was responsible for managing Millicom's global portfolio of joint venture partners, business development and corporate finance/M&A activities. In 1998, Mr. Kane joined E.M. Warburg Pincus & Co., a leading private equity firm, where he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating and structuring equity and equity-related investments. Mr. Kane left Warburg Pincus in 2000 to found and manage Advanta Growth Capital, a private equity/venture capital firm sponsored by Advanta Corporation (NASDAQ: ADVNB). Mr. Kane subsequently took responsibility for eight portfolio companies in another Advanta fund (Advanta Partners) and actively managed the related investments through Board representation. Mr. Kane received his B.A. from Brown University and his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Bruce Katz is a Managing Director of The Patriot Group. Mr. Katz, a former attorney at Shearman & Sterling and investment banker at Greenwich Capital Markets, Inc., has been involved in the asset-based financing market for over 15 years, with significant experience in commercial and consumer finance. At Shearman & Sterling from 1984 to 1995, Mr. Katz specialized in structured finance, with transaction experience spanning trade receivables financing (including the first trade receivables master trust for CSX railroad), asset-backed commercial paper programs (including an IDD and IFR deal of the year), leveraged leasing transactions involving rolling stock and manufacturing equipment, and cross-border future flow financings. At Greenwich Capital from 1995 to 1998, Mr. Katz specialized in structured finance transactions involving consumer receivables, including asset-backed securitizations, whole loan purchase facilities, warehouse lines, residual and distressed asset financings and purchases, warrant purchases and workouts. From 1999 until he joined Patriot, Mr. Katz served as an independent consultant, analyst and advisor to banks, hedge funds and finance companies in the asset-backed market, and provided valuation and brokerage services with respect to consumer loans, subordinate and distressed consumer asset-backed securities and residual interests. Mr. Katz also serves on the Board of Directors of Presidential Bank, FSB, headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland. Mr. Katz received a B.A. from Cornell University, a Masters in Public Affairs from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and a J.D. from the University of Michigan.

Jeffrey Beckwith is a Director of The Patriot Group. Mr. Beckwith has over 20 years of mortgage and asset backed capital markets experience. Mr. Beckwith began his career with Greenwich Capital Markets, Inc. in 1985. During his 15 year career at Greenwich Mr. Beckwith held various roles including; origination of non-agency mortgage backed securitizations in particular Home Equity securitizations, Asset and Mortgage Backed sales, Whole Loan-ARMS and Asset Backed Trading, UK securitisation investment banking and management of Greenwich’s European Principal Finance activities related to non-performing mortgages. More recently Mr. Beckwith worked for CBA Receivables, LLC a privately held merchant banking company focused on the mortgage finance industry and with ResMAE Mortgage Corporation as their Executive Vice President of Capital Markets. Mr. Beckwith received his B.S. in Administrative Management from Clemson University.

Bill Cargill is a Director of The Patriot Group. Mr. Cargill previously served as Director of Credit and Underwriting for CSG Investments, Inc., an opportunistic commercial mortgage investor. Formerly, he served as the Senior Underwriter at ORIX Capital Markets, LLC where he had wide responsibilities including commercial loan underwriting, acquisition due diligence, surveillance of ORIX's whole loan portfolio and the analysis of emerging real estate trends and their impact on the investment portfolio. While at ORIX, Mr. Cargill was instrumental in the underwriting of approximately $1 billion in CMBS subordinated bonds backed by an aggregate $20 billion in real estate assets. He also assisted in the development of the surveillance process for these positions. Earlier in his 15-year career with ORIX and its predecessor companies, Mr. Cargill was a Senior Asset Manager in the special servicing unit, concentrating on owned assets. He has extensive loan workout experience across all major property types in a wide variety of geographic locations, and also has significant experience in management of REO properties. Mr. Cargill began his career as a senior accountant for a real estate syndicator. Mr. Cargill holds a B.S. in Accounting from Oklahoma State University.

Jack Field is the Controller of The Patriot Group. Mr. Field previously served as the Assistant Controller of Gerald Metals, a nonferrous and precious metal trading firm. Mr. Field’s responsibilities consisted of managing the annual audit process for the consolidated group, statutory reporting for foreign subsidiaries, organized entity structures for acquisitions and JV’s, supporting the due diligence process for multiple financing facilities and corporate compliance. Mr. Field has over 15 years of accounting experience in the private sector. Mr. Field holds a B.S. from Bryant College.

Barbara B. Girard is Vice President of Patriot's Real Estate Division. Ms. Girard has over 10 years of real estate, finance, and accounting experience. She has held positions at multinational firms such as Bank of America, Colonial Mutual Funds, and small private firms and funds such as The Grossman Companies and Baupost Group. While with Grossman, Ms. Girard oversaw over a million square feet of retail, office, apartment, and industrial property. She was also instrumental in refinancing hundreds of millions of assets. In addition Ms. Girard was responsible for underwriting all new redevelopment and development deals. Ms. Girard joined The Patriot Group from MuniMae Midland Financial where she was most recently a senior asset manager acting as a liaison with the developers and managers of the largest apartment portfolio in the country; also while at MMA, She supervised and trained the analyst team for the tax credit business. Ms. Girard holds a business degree in Finance with a minor in Quantitative Methods from Babson College.

Annette Gosselin is the Director of Client Services for The Patriot Group. Colin McGlynn is an Associate for The Patriot Group. Mr. McGlynn previously served as an Investment Associate at Putnam Investments, where he assisted in equity research coverage of fourteen companies with market capitalizations of over $3.5 billion for the Large Cap Value Group. His responsibilities included creating market demand models, business and business segment income and cash flow projections, and meeting with senior management of companies under coverage.
